More than 10 years teaching English in Public Education brought out the natural fulfilment that she finds in conveying information - with a knack for simplifying complex topics - and the pleasure of helping others in general.

Of course, living in Bordeaux, it quickly became obvious that she should work in the wine business and focus on a passion she had enjoyed for a long time. Berit studied and went to wine school after work at night. She then worked in three of Bordeaux’s top chateaux in the major wine districts - Saint-Julien (Medoc), Saint-Emilion and Graves – at a time when organized guided wine tours were quite few and far between in the area. This inspired her to launch B for Bordeaux, that organizes private vineyard excursions in the local chateaux: the best decision she ever made…
