A Vineyard Surronding the Medieval Village

Saint-Émilion

The right bank Saint-Emilion appellation with its undulating hills is known to be the most scenic of the Bordeaux wine districts. Estates here are small and often family owned. The Grand Cru Classé system differs from that of the Medoc, however both prestige and history are in the air this side of the river too.

Preview

A walk around the enchanting medieval village of Saint-Emilion (UNESCO world heritage) with its narrow, cobbled streets is highly recommended, as is a tour in the adjacent Pomerol appellation with its voluptuous wines (e.g. Petrus).

Throughout the day, you will be introduced to the otherwise tightly-knit world of wine in Bordeaux. You can simply lean back and enjoy the beautiful scenery, the enchanting architecture, learn about the secrets behind the terroirs and winemaking in chateaux that I have carefully pre-selected. And, of course, you can ask me questions… all day long.
